The annual inspection must be carried out within 365 days of the date of purchase or the last inspection. This is basically the responsibility of the operator, but there are service providers who take on this unpleasant burden—keeping track of the due date—from the operator.
What does such an inspection consist of?
Hardware and software inspection.
- Is the cash register seal intact (if not, a report must be made)?
- Is the printed receipt legible?
- Does the cash register communicate with the NAV server?
